box-sizing: border-box !important;" align="justify"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 鱼市街因与桃花溪相邻，十分方便贩者打鱼后就近销售，解放前因是出售鱼类的市场而得名。鱼市街每日上市的鱼类至少有几十斤，多时数百斤。大多是贩者趁着农闲或工余捕捞、垂钓的，鱼大都来自附近的长江和桃花溪，都是常见的种类。值得一提的是滑白鱼（鲹子鱼），是最受酒客欢迎的佐酒佳肴。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit; box-sizing: border-box !important;" align="justify"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 在鱼市街，开门七件事，样样都称便，生活必需品一应俱全。有卖盐糖干鲜、酱油、咸菜副食品的，有卖香蜡纸烛、川纸土扎的，也有漕房酒馆、中药铺、烟铺。街侧有面馆、小吃店、日杂店，还有炒房、缝纫、成衣洗染、理发店等。鱼市街上的茶馆，常常坐满歇脚的客人。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit; box-sizing: border-box !important;" align="justify"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 鱼市街最热闹的时间是早晨。只要天一亮，就沿街排列起各种应时蔬菜、鱼类及鸡鸭蛋了。蔬菜大都是农户自销，小成本经营，近郊菜农或肩挑，或背负，来此卖菜。禽蛋盛于提篮、箩筐、背兜，以个数议价，也有少数鸡鸭蛋商贩作短途贩运。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit;
