box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(109, 109, 109); visibility: visible; box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 清朝同治12年(公元1874年)，是清朝叶赫那拉氏慈禧40寿辰。慈禧太后准备借机大庆一番，并将寿庆的筹备工作，交由她的亲信太监李连英办理。李连英为博老佛爷欢喜，冥思苦想，费尽心机，突然灵机一动，何不找一个带“寿”字的州县印章，制成一个由百颗州县印印成的“寿”字呢？悬挂在慈禧太后40大寿庆典仪式的正堂，既颂扬老佛爷万寿无疆，又代表万民归顺，天下喜庆吉祥，老佛爷准定高兴。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit; box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 时任国史馆编修的汪叙畴，被选定担任慈禧太后四十寿辰庆典仪式的司仪。汪叙畴，字蓉州，四川长寿复元乡(今属凤城街道办事处)汪家湾人。汪叙畴出生书香世家，清朝同治3年(公元1864年)，他和他的哥哥汪范畴同年中举，次年，同中进士。后又同时被同治皇帝点为翰林，有“汪门兄弟两翰林”之称，在当时朝野传为佳话。汪叙畴担任慈禧太后40寿辰庆典司仪，自是不二人选。他不仅学识渊博，南人北相，仪表堂堂，风度翩翩，更重要的是因为他是四川长寿县人，与用百颗长寿县印印制成的“百寿图”相对应。用他任庆典司仪，即可一意双关：一来切题，二来更显长寿、吉祥之气氛。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit;
