outline: 0px; clear: both; min-height: 1em; visibility: visible; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(109, 109, 109); visibility: visible; box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 崇德堂大门正对新市场入口，后门俯瞰林庄坝，占地面积大约2000平方米，是一座四进院的建筑群，里面有好几个带天井的小院，后面是一个大花园，广植奇花异树。解放后，这座老院子，曾经住过三四十户人家。而今，崇德堂已经改建成小有名气的伟达小区，小区旁边的高大石墙，还是当年的旧貌，成为崇德堂的唯一遗存。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit; outline: 0px; clear: both; min-height: 1em; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(109, 109, 109); box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 北平沦陷后，有两三个日本军官来到孙公馆，交谈良久而离去。原来，日本人找孙仲山，是叫他出来做官，但孙仲山总是以种种理由拒绝了。在孙仲山的朋友圈中，不少人沦为汉奸，最后都被枪毙。而孙仲山长期活跃在官场和商海，屡经变故，惯看风云，深知人情世故，对是非功过，心里非常有数，他知道汉奸没有好下场，面对日本人的诱惑，自然深明大义，因此绝不下水。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit; outline: 0px; clear: both; min-height: 1em; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(109, 109, 109); box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 抗战结束后，国民政府想让大中银行与外国银行合作，孙仲山坚决不同意。不与外国人合办银行，强调自己办，孙仲山生前多次说过此事。据王尔藩讲，赵棣华曾经叫王尔藩说服孙仲山，让大中银行由他长期办，孙不同意，就卡大中银行的脖子。到了解放战争后期，国民党要逃离大陆，这才同意把大中银行交还给孙仲山。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit; outline: 0px; clear: both; min-height: 1em; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(109, 109, 109); box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 孙仲山最后一次回老家，正值长寿临近解放。当时很多有钱人纷纷处置资产，向外逃跑。一天，一个警察模样的人匆匆忙忙赶到崇德堂，找到孙仲山，叫他赶紧卖地离开长寿，走得越远越好。孙仲山不为所动，并告诉来人：“哪个朝代我都过来了，我还过不了这道坎么!”</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit; outline: 0px; clear: both; min-height: 1em; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(109, 109, 109); box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 孙仲山一向重视对孩子的教育培养。早期，家里聘请了优秀的家庭教师，教授孩子们国文、书法，经常要求孩子们读古文，临碑帖。后来，孩子们从小学、中学到大学，都是上当时最好的学校，并鼓励资助孩子们出国留学。1932年，安排三女孙经仪、女婿钮先铭和五子孙经纶去日本留学，两年后，三人又一起从日本到法国留学。钮先铭深造军事，孙经纶学习飞行。十一子孙经义，读中学时考了个第一名，孙仲山很是高兴，特意给安排一个书房，以示鼓励。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit; outline: 0px; clear: both; min-height: 1em; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(109, 109, 109); box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 孙仲山再忙碌，也没有少疼孩子。十一子孙经义上高中时，不过十五六岁，由于受抗日热情的鼓舞，偷偷报名参加远征军，已获批准，第二天就要出发前往缅甸。孙仲山知道此事后，不同意，把孙经义锁了起来。孙仲山教育道：“抗日是大人的事情，你还太小，不能去”。孙仲山孩子多，但女儿多儿子少，对孙经义特别宝贝，喜欢得很，父子经常摆谈很多知心话。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit; outline: 0px; clear: both; min-height: 1em; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(109, 109, 109); box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 1943年夏天，十女儿孙经仁、十一子孙经义媳妇白淑贤、张宾吾夫人王漪清等，总共10多人，一起从天津回长寿老家。先从天津乘坐火车到安徽西北的届首，再坐人拉板车到陕西，然后南下四川回长寿。由于路上带的钱不够，到西安就用完了。孙仲山想得很周到，提前给西安金城银行老板周作民写了一封信，让孙经仁随身携带，到了西安，凭信取款2.5万元法币，顺利回到了长寿老家。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit; outline: 0px; clear: both; min-height: 1em; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(109, 109, 109); box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 孙仲山的舅父袁氏，死后没有子女，遗产被同族的人侵占。孙仲山“乃出鉅资将已占遗产倍价赎回”，选派族中支派相当、诚笃可恃名叫袁金海的，作为继子，“以续已坠之绪”。孙仲山的姐夫王正品早逝，他的姐姐青年守节抚孤，家道式微。于是，孙仲山在家乡置产、资其生存，且“托姐氏代为经营”。安排长外甥王尔屏在家读书，侍候母亲，然后携次外甥王尔藩、嗣表弟袁金海、堂弟孙海波等到北方，延请名师为之课读，后皆有所成就。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit; outline: 0px; clear: both; min-height: 1em; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(109, 109, 109); box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 到“五一”劳动节的时候，整个清理工作已近尾声。5月6日，孙仲山患了重感冒，喘气不止，于是电话通知住在北京的夫人郑次贞赶紧到天津。当天晚上，孙仲山提出要去吃一种平时不大爱吃的东西，然后提出要去看平时很少看的平戏，家人都一直陪同着。第二天早晨起床，孙仲山低头去穿袜子，突然摔倒在地，就再也没有醒来。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit;
