outline: 0px; clear: both; min-height: 1em; visibility: visible; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; visibility: visible; box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 玉溪里的名称，由玉溪和里组成。玉溪，就是大洪河。清光绪元年《长寿县志》载：“玉溪:县西北一百二十里。自邻水县流入，又西南流七十里至江北厅界，名交龙溪，溪侧古木盘曲，状如交龙，因名。又南流至太洪岗，入大江”。里，是古代乡以下的基层行政单位，相当于村，唐代百户为里。后来乡镇之地，也称为里，表示的是一个行政区域。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit; outline: 0px; clear: both; min-height: 1em; visibility: visible; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; visibility: visible; box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 玉溪里，远在明月山脉之外，在当今人们眼里，这是一个偏僻的山乡。然而，这里历来山水幽绝，人文厚重，曾经是文风鼎盛的儒学圣地。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit; outline: 0px; clear: both; min-height: 1em; visibility: visible; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; visibility: visible; box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 玉溪里，是中国文化史上的一个重要地标。她与中国的易学、理学发展密切相关，与程颐、张浚、刘勉之、胡宪、朱熹、张栻、吕祖谦、陆游、魏了翁等文化名人血脉相通。可是，很久以来，作为儒学圣地的玉溪里，却隐藏在历史的迷雾之中，以致人们对她曾经的辉光一无所知。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit; outline: 0px; clear: both; min-height: 1em; visibility: visible; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; visibility: visible; box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 当今一些研究谯定、㬊渊的学术文章，都说他们是宋代涪州人，或者涪陵人。特别是当今涪陵区的学者，普遍持这种看法。而一些外地学者，则说他们是涪州乐温人。康熙五十三年和光绪元年《长寿县志》载：“长寿自宋熙宁乞元，归并涪州，故人物多载涪陵古志。今考名儒如谯定、㬊渊、贾长卿辈，所居属境内者方为编入，非因小邑荒陋，借材于楚也。”可见，谯定、㬊渊，均为长寿人，长寿史籍早有明载。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit; outline: 0px; clear: both; min-height: 1em; visibility: visible; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; visibility: visible; box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 然而，谯定、㬊渊到底是长寿哪个地方的人，却一直不明，至今谬说流传。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit; outline: 0px; clear: both; min-height: 1em; visibility: visible; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; visibility: visible; box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 关于谯定的籍贯，人们普遍认为是长寿焦家乡人，并认定他晚年隐居焦家讲学。有的媒体甚至按照这个说法，到焦家去寻找谯定的家谱。其实，这种说法没有任何历史证据。元人赵道一的《历世真仙体道通鉴续编》卷四之谯定条有这样的记载：“谯先生，名定，字天授，涪州乐温县玉溪人。”康熙五十三年《长寿县志》山川类载：“玉溪，治西七十里，即谯定、㬊渊二先生讲学处。”结合这两个记载，曾叫玉溪里的今天大洪湖一带，确为谯定故里和讲学之处。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit; outline: 0px; clear: both; min-height: 1em; visibility: visible; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; visibility: visible; box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 玉溪里不仅是㬊渊的讲学之地，也极有可能是㬊渊的出生地。光绪元年《长寿县志》载：“县西七十里㬊子山下，前临玉溪，宋儒谯定、㬊渊讲学于此，今有祠，一云，即渊宅故址。”既然㬊渊故宅在此，则说明这里就是㬊渊的居家之地。㬊渊从朱熹游学而归，仕途受阻，长期隐居老家讲学授徒，乃是情理中事。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit; outline: 0px; clear: both; min-height: 1em; visibility: visible; box-sizing: border-box !important;"><span style="outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; visibility: visible; box-sizing: border-box !important;"> 很早以来，今天大洪湖一带就流传着㬊老爷和谯夫子的故事。相传，当地有个姓㬊的大户人家，当家的叫㬊老爷。谯夫子曾经是㬊老爷的下人，在一个活水井中发现了两个小金人，大概就是今天的娃娃鱼。谯夫子奉命将两个小金人捞起来，交给了㬊老爷后，就到成都去买菜。㬊老爷趁谯夫子外出的时候，就将两个小金人用蒸笼蒸熟，把肉全部吃了，谯夫子从成都回来，就只剩下一点余汤了。不久，㬊老爷因贪婪而死，谯夫子却成了仙人。这个故事，提到的㬊老爷，显然与㬊渊的家族背景有关；至于谯夫子到成都买菜的说法，更值得注意，这与谯定晚年隐居青城山的记载，具有某种内在联系。</span></p><p style="vertical-align: inherit;
